After experiencing the Holiday Inn with the best hardware in Shanghai, I came to experience the Crowne Plaza with the best hardware. Actually, it’s obvious that having the best hardware means it opened relatively recently. But newly opened hotels usually have a renovation smell, so you have to wait until the smell has mostly dissipated and the staff are familiar with their duties before coming to experience it~~~
Overall, the quality of this hotel is very high, and its hardware is not inferior to some older InterContinental hotels. Among the inconsistent Crowne Plaza properties, this one is definitely at a very high standard. I booked a Deluxe Room and was upgraded one level to Executive, receiving a room on the highest floor, the 12th. There was no view from the window, but it was very convenient for accessing the lounge~~
The room hardware is excellent; the TV is large enough, and the bathroom is spacious. The only issue was that the water pressure wasn’t quite sufficient at night. The air conditioning is very powerful, keeping the room temperature above 26 degrees Celsius was no problem at all. It was very quiet at night, and I slept extremely well. The breakfast quality is very high, with a rich variety and great taste~ Completely beyond my expectations.
