I have to say that Hyatt restaurants everywhere are exceptionally good, making them must-visit dining spots in many locations. The Donghai 88 restaurant at Hyatt Qingdao is no exception. Although it’s said that you can get the best roast duck in all of Qingdao here… but who comes to Qingdao just to eat roast duck~~~

First up is the most recommended Spinach with Sesame Paste, but since it contains vinegar, I didn’t like it… though I’m sure some people would love it.
Squirrel-style Sea Bass—the sea bass felt a little on the small side~~~ While not as delicious as the Yangtze Mandarin Fish at Hyatt Chongming, it was still very good.
Spanish Mackerel Dumplings were truly excellent, packed with filling, and a portion of 10 was just right.
The outdoor seating at this restaurant also offers great views, looking directly out at the famous Stone Old Man rock formation.

You can also see the ocean outside from the hotel lobby lounge~~
