This place was chosen as the last stop on my trip to Qingdao. Originally, I went because I thought the long underwater tunnel would be interesting and wanted to see it, but in reality, there is no long underwater tunnel here; in fact, there’s basically nothing at all. About one-third consists entirely of artificial little scenes set up for tourists to take photos, another third features animals, and the remaining third is devoted to merchandise and food… I even feel like it was quite a feat just to pick out these few photos…
There are two shows in total: one inside the aquarium and another outdoors. Compared to the rather boring aquarium, I suppose these performances count as a small highlight. Oh, right—the quality of the plush toys sold nearby is also pretty good, and they’re quite cute too…
I have to say, the sea next door is actually quite nice to look at… sweat
On top of that, this place charges such high admission fees, making the overall experience very disappointing. It feels like grabbing a coffee nearby or having a meal at the Hyatt would have been much better options…
