Personally, I quite like the Indigo style—it’s a bit more youthful and uses colors very boldly.
But this one is truly mini; this 30-square-meter room feels so, so small…
Fortunately, the design adds a lot of points, and as soon as you insert the key card, the curtains open automatically to reveal Gulangyu Island right outside the window.
Just like in Shanghai, there’s a candy jar in the room. Shanghai had White Rabbit candy, while Xiamen naturally has nougat.
Also, just like in Shanghai, there’s a fully automatic toilet with a bidet function~~~
The hotel service is excellent—so much better than the Indigo in Shanghai~~~~
However, taxis in Xiamen are just average. Since it’s on an island,
no matter where you go, it’s not that far, yet drivers really try every trick to take the long way around…
Additionally, the hotel’s location is great. There’s a Starbucks, BreadTalk, and Lukang Town nearby,
as well as Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. The ferry terminal is right across the street, making dining and getting to the island very convenient~~~
The restaurant at this Indigo is also called Quay~~
This internet area is far less interesting than the birdcage setup in Shanghai.
