Continuing from the previous post, this one mainly features scenic photos:
The seawater quality is pretty good, but the sand is really poor, full of small pebbles. Actually, the hotel itself is very nice, but unfortunately, it’s right next to a residential area. The upside is that it’s convenient to go out for meals and shopping, and the duty-free shop isn’t far away either, accessible by shuttle bus. The downside is also quite obvious: the hotel is full of elderly residents taking walks or doing morning exercises. Except for paid areas like the restaurants, basically all public areas have been taken over by locals… But there’s nothing that can be done about it, since the hotel owner is also the developer of the residential complex… And the hotel can’t exactly bar people from entering…
The hotel service is excellent; staff will generally greet you proactively once they know you’re a guest. However, because there are so many local residents in the public areas, they only seem to greet those they recognize~~~~ I heard that now you need a room key card to access the changing rooms and such, which has already stopped many residents from coming in to swim… Also, it’s a bit cold this season, so swimming isn’t really an option; basically, you can only look at the sea. Plus, there happened to be construction going on along the beach installing drainage pipes, which was somewhat disruptive. If I come back for a vacation in the future, I’ll probably choose a hotel further away from residential areas, like in Yalong Bay or Haitang Bay~~
