Just like the cherry blossoms at the main campus, there are things at Jiading Campus that make you miss them after leaving and want to visit occasionally—like the little animals.
There is something in Jiading campus just like the cherry blossom in Siping Campus, which makes me obsessed with after leaving, such as those waterfowls.
It’s been a long time since I last visited Jiading Campus, so let’s start with some scenery—the adorable library:

New residential developments have sprung up outside; doesn’t it look a bit like Century Park from this angle~~~

That building in the background must be the Auto Exhibition Center, though I’ve never actually seen any cars exhibited inside…

At noon, we went to Penglaige, which is still up and running. The menu has changed, and the food was pretty mediocre.
I feel like the dishes here shouldn’t have been photographed to look this good… Thanks to atatstone for hosting.
The fruit salad was shockingly disappointing… Not a single piece of fresh fruit—it was all canned…

Dry Pot Chestnut Chicken actually tasted a bit like Chicken Casserole. The flavor was acceptable, but the chicken was either all skin or bones…

Taro Braised Pork Ribs—I suspect the ingredients had been sitting around for quite a while, and the so-called pork ribs weren’t what we’d normally consider pork ribs.

Now let’s move on to the little animals section. Here is the legendary gathering spot for these critters:

There are definitely a lot more geese than before.

Quite a few more ducks too..

Peacock

Doesn’t it look like a zoo…

In the end, it got so hot that we had to make a quick escape…..
