Loop Pub & Library
Today I’d like to introduce two shops. The first one is called Loop, opened by my friend KD and her business partner.
The shop is located at 211 Anfu Road, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
It’s a small place, but it has underfloor heating, which makes it incredibly cozy in the middle of winter.
The space isn’t large and can’t accommodate too many people; there’s a sofa, a few tables, and some books on the shelves.
The shop hosts various small exhibitions from time to time and also sells some little trinkets.
You can also sit down, order some food and drinks, read a book, or chat with the owner~~
The food and drink menu is quite simple, mainly offering coffee, tea, beer,
and various delicacies that can be made using just an air fryer.
Yiqi Avocado Restaurant&Bar
This shop is located on Xiangyang Road, right next to Xiangyang Park. It’s truly a delightful surprise—as you can tell from the name, their specialty is avocado.
The decor is very thoughtfully arranged; the entrance features a wall filled with wine bottles, and the interior is furnished with wooden tables and chairs.
The walls are covered with paintings, and there’s a huge floor-to-ceiling window facing Xiangyang Park. Since it just opened recently, there aren’t many customers yet.
The lunch set is a great deal at 49 yuan, including salad, soup, main course, dessert, and black tea. Although the salad and dessert portions are small,
the price is already lower than ordering a single main course à la carte. Plus, the ingredients are generous, the taste is excellent, and the overall quality is impressive.
Finally, here’s a photo of an early winter morning in Shanghai~~ Taken on the pedestrian overpass at Hulan Road Metro Station.
