A very popular spot lately. The venue spans three floors, with a café on the first floor. & Bakery; the second floor is a restaurant,
and the third floor is a Lounge Bar. They’re probably best known for their brunch, which comes in huge portions at reasonable prices.
Plus, with various afternoon tea group deals available, it gets packed every weekend, so reservations are highly recommended.
The vibe is quite similar to Element Fresh, though the tables and chairs are arranged more tightly and there are more people.
Judging by the name, I’d assume it’s British cuisine, but the only famous British dish I know is fish&chips—I’m completely clueless about anything else.
The brunch style is typically European, and at lunchtime there’s also a self-service food bar to choose from.
Portions are generous and offer great value for money. Two of us ordered a combo with half a rack of ribs and half a roast chicken…
Besides the meat, it came with fries, onion rings, corn, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms—clearly heavy on the meat and light on the veggies.
Two people couldn’t finish it at all; it would’ve been more appropriate for four people to share with an added salad…
I had a pretty good impression of this place and would love to come back to try their afternoon tea, brunch, and buffet options.
So looks like I’ll be visiting many more times…
In the afternoon, I took a stroll along Dongping Road and Taojiang Road and noticed lots of newly opened shops.
I also stopped by the Deli next to Xian Zhi Xuan. & Bakery. Since it was chilly outside, the outdoor seating area wasn’t open;
otherwise, sitting outdoors playing with all those cats would’ve been so much fun~~~~

Sun Flour
Sun Flour is another hugely popular spot that I’ve introduced before.
Their sandwiches and salads are just average, but their desserts and breads are absolutely fantastic.
It was packed as soon as I walked in, with lines for both dine-in and takeout.
After waiting a bit, we finally got seated in a nice spot, but most of their classic items were already sold out.
All that was left were chocolate éclairs—but they were truly delicious~~~
It’s strawberry season now, but even then, most items were pretty much sold out…
So if you’re planning to visit, make sure to arrive early~~~~
