Hotel Indigo Tianjin features 11 nostalgic Germanic-style villas built across the entire triangular block that once housed the former German Consulate in the old German Concession. With only 96 rooms in total, the hotel offers three distinct design themes: European, Cinema, and Maritime. Ironically, I ended up with the European style, which is arguably the least distinctive of the three… Looks like I didn’t do enough research beforehand! Next time, I’ll definitely request to experience one of the other themed rooms~~~~~ This stay was in a suite on the 3rd floor of Building No. 1, so most of the windows were skylights. In the future, I might consider rooms on other floors… That said, the spaciousness, luxurious furnishings, and top-notch amenities were incredibly satisfying….
For instance, Sealy mattresses, B&O speakers, TOTO smart toilets, and a full set of KOHLER bathroom fixtures….

We happened to catch a group deal, so we tried their restaurant for lunch. Just remember to make a reservation at least a day in advance… The food was pretty good, but since it was virtually empty on a weekday, staff were hardly visible… The restaurant ambiance, however, was absolutely fantastic, featuring vibrant color schemes and an array of cute, brightly colored tableware.
