陆家嘴金融贸易区是中国上海其中一个主要的金融中心区，位于浦东新区的黄浦江畔，面对外滩。整个金融贸易区总面积共有28平方公里，其中规划开发地区为6.8平方公里，已有约100座大厦落成。
Lujiazui is an important financial district in Pudong, Shanghai. In 2005 the State Council reaffirmed the positioning of the 31.78 km2 Lujiazui area, as the only finance and trade zone among the 185 state-level development zones on the mainland China.

金茂大厦 Jinmao Tower
The Jin Mao Tower is an 88-storey landmark supertall skyscraper in the Lujiazui area of the Pudong district of Shanghai. It contains offices and the Shanghai Grand Hyatt hotel.
金茂大厦位于上海浦东新区黄浦江畔的陆家嘴金融贸易区，楼高420.5米，目前是上海第2高的摩天大楼（截至2008年8月）。大厦于1994年开工，1998年建成，有地上88层，若再加上尖塔的楼层共有93层，地下3层，楼面面积27万8,707平方米，有多达130部电梯与555间客房，现已成为上海的一座地标，是集现代化办公楼、五星级酒店、会展中心、娱乐、商场等设施于一体，融汇中国塔型风格与西方建筑技术的多功能型摩天大楼，由著名的美国芝加哥SOM设计事务所所设计。

环球金融中心 Shanghai World Financial Center
是一个位于中国上海浦东新区的陆家嘴金融贸易区内一栋摩天大楼，目前为中国大陆第一高楼、世界第二高楼、世界最高的平顶式大楼，楼高492米（1,614英尺），地上101层，开发商为“上海环球金融中心公司”，其由日本森大楼公司（森ビル）主导兴建。

The Shanghai World Financial Center is a supertall skyscraper in Shanghai, China. It is a mixed use skyscraper which consists of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping malls on the ground floors. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the hotel component containing 174 rooms and suites. On opening, this hotel will become the highest in the world, surpassing the Grand Hyatt Shanghai on the 53rd to 87th floors of the neighboring Jin Mao Tower.
On 14 September 2007 the skyscraper was topped out at 492.0 meters (1,614.2 ft) and became the second tallest building in the world; as well as the tallest structure on mainland China, including Hong Kong. It is currently the world’s tallest completed building by roof.
On 28 August 2008, the SWFC officially opened for business. On August 30 the Observation Deck opened with a view from 3 levels. The highest view is at 474 m (1,555 ft) above ground level.
