Let’s start with ticketing. Currently, it seems that tickets at major authorized outlets are not very plentiful, especially discounted tickets, making them seem hard to get. But in fact, you can buy tickets directly at the ticket windows outside the entrance. These are all same-day tickets, supply is ample, and the process is very convenient and quick.
Next, let’s talk about visitor flow. The number of individual visitors isn’t huge, but there are many tour groups. The only difference between groups and individuals is that they use different entrances upon entry; once inside, group members disperse and explore on their own just like individual visitors (except for some specially organized units). Individual visitors generally don’t need to queue to enter, so the least crowded times in the park are actually before 10:00 AM, when tour groups haven’t arrived yet, and after 6:00 PM, when most groups have left. Therefore, visiting in the evening is a great option—it’s cooler, less crowded, and while popular pavilions might require a 2-hour wait during the day, there’s basically no line at night. However, most pavilions only stay open until around 9:30–10:00 PM, so even though the Expo Park remains open until midnight, it’s pointless if the pavilions are closed. Plan your time wisely.
As for which pavilions to visit, since time is limited, you can only see a few, so naturally you’ll want to pick the impressive ones. But which pavilions are worth seeing? It’s actually quite simple: just look at whether the country is wealthy~~~~~ For example, the USA, Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Germany, France, Russia, etc. As for the African pavilions, unless you have a special affinity for a particular country, you can pretty much skip them entirely.
