As a world-class steakhouse, Morton’s Steakhouse has already opened two locations in Shanghai~~~
This one is newly opened on the 4th floor of iAPM Mall, while the other is in IFC~~
Compared to that location’s classic decor style, this one is much more modern, but also much more crowded.
Prices are quite high at night; if you’re having steak, expect to spend around 1,000 RMB per person,
but lunch is much better value with set menus: steak sets are 318 RMB including soup, and non-steak sets are 218 RMB.
Plus a 10% service charge. Given how quiet it was at lunchtime, there were noticeably more staff than customers…
Having them standing in a row nearby felt a bit strange… but the service was still very good.
The pre-meal bread was delicious—huge and tasty, easily the best pre-meal bread I’ve ever had.
It’s just so big that sharing between two people will leave you full… splitting it among four people would be more appropriate…
Lobster Bisque: although served in a coffee cup-sized portion, the flavor was excellent, and it contained quite a generous amount of lobster meat~~~
Medium-rare Rib Eye: although slightly overcooked for medium-rare, the meat quality was great with nice marbling,
tender and juicy—it tasted fantastic with just salt and pepper~~~~
Since my friend doesn’t eat raw food, they opted for the salmon fillet instead.
It was a large portion with a tasty sauce, but personally, I’d still recommend the steak.
My friend ordered a 100 RMB serving of mashed potatoes, worried about not getting enough to eat… what a waste…
Each table features a little pig-shaped lamp~~

Now let’s talk about Sun Flour—the name shares its meaning with ‘sunflower’~~~
You can tell at a glance it’s a bakery, so… our lunch experience here was somewhat disappointing…
But their breads and desserts are truly outstanding, making it a great spot for afternoon tea~~~~
The House Salad came with a vinaigrette I usually enjoy, but there was far too little dressing, leaving the vegetables bland and tasteless.
The chicken breast and sliced almonds were decent, but the bread croutons, along with the oddly pickled onions and apples, were awful…
The lunch sandwich set comes with soup and red wine tomato; the red wine tomato was pretty good,
but unfortunately the pumpkin soup wasn’t enjoyable—it had a burnt taste…
Tuna Sandwich: honestly, seeing the word ‘tuna,’ I should have realized it would be canned tuna…
The Blueberry Cheesecake remains amazing as always, and if you prefer something sweeter, definitely try the finger éclairs~~~
