Inside People’s Park, there is the Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai. On the 3rd floor, there is a restaurant.
This restaurant is far less well-known than the one above the art museum, and it isn’t as popular either.
It has existed in a rather mysterious way, having been open for many years, changed its name multiple times,
and undergone numerous renovations… Yet surprisingly, it hasn’t closed down…
Now, it has even resorted to offering group-buy deals… Of course, with the discounted price, the quality of ingredients has also taken a hit.
But the taste is still quite good, and the ambiance is nice too; besides, at only 138 RMB for two people, it’s quite a bargain.
Thinking back to when I dined here 5 years ago, it cost over 400 RMB for two, so naturally, there are some differences…
For specifics, you can refer to my blog post from that year:Moca Art Lab…

Next, let’s talk about Xijiuxiang Coffee:
You could call this place a restaurant, but it’s mainly a spot to sit and chat…
The muffins are pretty good, the drinks are decent, and the prices aren’t steep, but you have to order at the counter yourself.
As a result, there’s often a long line at the register, but after ordering, you get a little bear…
The staff use the color of the bear’s clothes to identify who to serve, which is very popular among girls…
Compared to the location on the second floor of the mall near Zhongshan Park, this branch at People’s Square has a much nicer environment.
If the weather is nice, coming here to soak up the sun is a great choice…
